About me

Michal Dabrowka

A young patent attorney with tousled brown hair and light stubble, smiling with his arms crossed.

Prior to founding MD IP in Poland, I had spent 12 years in the UK, including nearly 7 years at two top-tier European patent firms. I qualified as a UK and European patent attorney in July 2022.

I have handled patent applications across a range of chemical fields, with particular focus on agrochemicals, fluorocarbons, foodstuffs, fat compositions, fuel additives, enzymes for animal nutrition and pharmaceuticals. I have also worked on cases in somewhat more esoteric fields, such as computational biochemistry, nanomedicine and mass spectrometry.

In addition to drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the EPO, UK IPO and globally, I have experience in contentious work before the EPO, including assisting with and conducting oral proceedings before the Opposition Divisions and Boards of Appeal.
