Patent work should not come with billing surprises.

Where appropriate, MD IP can offer fixed fees for defined pieces of work, including patent drafting, prosecution projects and freedom-to-operate opinions.

For matters where the scope is less predictable, stage-based estimates can often be agreed at the outset, with fees reviewed as the matter develops.

Flexible fee arrangements

Different clients prefer different approaches to billing.

MD IP is happy to discuss a range of fee arrangements, including:

• Portfolio-based arrangements

• Hourly billing
